What project we have for you

We are looking for a motivated, pro-active devops willing to learn new technologies, working in a challenging and fast paced environment. You will be working in small cross-functional Agile teams responsible for the end-to-end development and component support using ‘You Build It, You Run It’ principle.E-commerce platform for one of the largest building merchants. Our client is taking on the complete redevelopment of the existing legacy platform with the focus on UX and Responsive Web Design, and Microservice Platform. It is aiming to remove vendor locking and fully leverage on the latest Open Source technical stack delivering eCommerce platform of the future.
The focus is on user journey, offer personalisation, search, customer data mining, smart adds and headless CMS allowing Business to efficiently manage day to day trading activities, promotions and sales.

What you will do

• Set up Cloud/Kubernetes infrastructure using IaC approach.
• Develop and support CI/CD.
• Configure monitoring and logging.
• Prompt response to any arising issues.
• Analysis of failures, identifying and isolating the source of problems.
• Automation of routine tasks.

Senior DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to strengthen our team of active, self-organised engineers who strive to deliver a high-quality standard.
The DevOps team is responsible for designing and implementing DevOps solutions throughout the DevOps pipeline, starting from the SCM and repository management through build and automation orchestration, up until the deployment and configuration steps. We are using cutting edge technologies as well as well-proven solutions.

What Will You Do?
• Set up Cloud/Kubernetes infrastructure using IaC approach.
• Develop and support CI/CD.

Requirements
• At least 4+ years of DevOps experience or similar role focused on reliability, high-availability, performance, scalability, capacity planning and automation.
• Experience in troubleshooting and administering Unix/Linux systems.
• Deep understanding of fundamental network technologies like DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, HTTP.
• Hands-on experience in:
• Version control systems: Git.
• CI/CD tools: GitLab CI.
• AWS Cloud.
• Docker containers.
• Container orchestration: Kubernetes.
• Helm.
• IaC tool: Terraform, Ansible.
• Logging stack: ElasticSearch, Filebeat, Kibana.
• Monitoring stack: Prometheus/Grafana.
• Scripting language: Bash or Python.
• Deploying and troubleshooting Web applications.
• Streaming platform: Kafka.
• IAM Solution: Keycloak.
• Secret Management Solution: HashiCorp Vault.

Will be a plus
Hands-on experience with:
• GCP Cloud.
• Istio service-mesh.
