What project do we have for you

Our customer is US based product company that provides services such as navigation, SDK, map data, safety, commerce, advertising, and insurance. We are having our own target is to build the best, most useful, and most user-friendly 3D rendering engine which will provide the user with a smooth image with lots of different navigation views plus shadows, change map style based on weather, day, fog, and so on. Our pillars of success are — memory, performance, and quality. We have two development centers: one in Ukraine and another in Eastern Europe. Our product will be cross-platform and will support IOS, Android, QNX, and Linux systems. Our clients are European, US, and Asian automotive manufacturers.

What will you do

• Develop new features for the map rendering engine

• Participate in a technical discussion to find the right architecture/design solution
• Write a highly optimized Unity3D, C# code
• Provide time estimates and time/performance/quality trade-offs to management.

What do you need for this

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Proficiency (3+years) in C#
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles
• Cross-platform development experience
• Excellent analytical, algorithmic, and optimization skills

• Knowledge of graphics APIs
• Expertise in C++ (preferably C++14), boost
• Knowledge of graphical algorithms, 3D rendering, or similar technologies e.g., game engine development
• At least upper-intermediate level of English, well-developed communication skills
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and engineering practices

• Able to work on non-graphics code
• Excellent knowledge of OOAD, architecture and design patterns, API design principles
• Passionate about programming, strong focus on performance aspects
• Be self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, and a very strong team player.
  

It would be great if you also had the following experience:

• Experience working with embedded systems and hardware
• Experience working with Docker, CI, and Jenkins.
