Project Overview:

We’re Navigation, a product unit within Location Technology Products technical unit. We develop software for onboard, hybrid, and online navigation applications — used by hundreds of millions of people around the world. Using a Navigation Data Standard (NDS) run-time format, our software includes navigation domain logic for traffic-dependent routing, route guidance, map visualization, search, positioning and machine learning-based predictions and suggestions. Responsibilities:

• Play a key role in the Architect team steering the Architecture of our Maps and Navigation SDKs for iOS;
• Participate and actively steer the development and design of great new features;
• Work with Empowered Product Teams, participating in the discovery process of new requirements for our products;
• Guiding and coaching technical leads.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with iOS development and architecture;
• Proficiency in Swift;
• Experience with MVVM, MVP architecture;
• Experience with cocoa pods, carthage and 3rd party frameworks;
• Experience developing and shipping dynamic mobile applications with rich user interfaces;
• Extensive knowledge of software patterns and practices;
• Knowledge of distributed software source control systems (e.g. git);
• Good command of English in speech and writing;
• Good communication skills and team work.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of some of these: Azure, Objective-C, Ruby, SwiftUI, Combine, Scripting languages.
