Project Overview:

Product consisting of a 120° FoV high-resolution lidar sensor (hardware) and perception packages that segment the point cloud delivered by the lidar into interpretable structures like vehicles, pedestrians, and free space (software). Project includes systems and safety development (functional safety, safety of the intended functionality and cybersecurity). Also includes the verification and validation of a specific perception feature — Horizon Detection.

Responsibilities:

• Support QNX target platform;
• Cross-compile perception software components on QNX with C++ 14;
• Troubleshoot QNX-specific software issues;
• Help maintaining QNX CI pipeline;
• Maintain hardware in the loop with QNX OS;
• Deploy solution to the target hardware;
• Perform system-level testing with target hardware;
• Perform parameters tweaking to improve system performance;
• Perform software bugfixing;
• Work with functional teams to improve system performance;
• Write integration tests;
• Contribute to the software development tool environment as well as continuous integration;
• Ensure the highest software quality for our products;
• Communicate with a client about requirements;
• Collaborate with team members.

Requirements:

• 3+ years as C++ Software Engineering with QNX;
• Automotive / AUTOSAR experience;
• Experience with unit tests.
