● Proven working experience in software engineering
● BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
● Proven experience utilizing GNU/Linux as development platform
● Solid programming experience in C/C++ (gcc, cmake, ninja)
● Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems (RTOS, FreeRTOS).
● Experience utilizing a DVCS: git (gerrit & github)
● Proven experiencing working in scrum teams utilizing JIRA & Confluence
● Spoken and written English are a must

● Experience with Nordic Semiconductor hardware is a big plus
● Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for hardware design
● Zephyr RTOS experience is a plus (www.zephyrproject.org).
● Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded devices (J-Link/JTAG, ETM)
● Connectivity standards like Bluetooth, ZigBee, NFC, WiFi
● Contributions to the Open Source and Free Software community are a plus

● Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
● Design, develop, code, test and debug system software
● Review code and design from other peers
● Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system performance & power management
● Integrate and validate new product designs
● Provide manufacturing support including factory visits and assisting with productization
● Interface with hardware design and development, mobile app development and product management

The successful candidate will work on our newly established project for client developing a ground-breaking product for tracking devices. You would be joining a team that is building the first intelligent organization system. The first products are scheduled to launch at the end of 2018. The person who fills this role will be involved with supporting existing features and developing new features for our initial products and also for developing our next line of products. The biggest technical challenges will be around managing power and memory within constrained connected environments.
