About project: The marketing agency developed a custom internal tool to manage remote employees ’in the field’ effectively. The product deploys missions, tracks schedules, holds resources and processes field reporting for its retail, sampling and social-based field marketing programs. We are currently on iteration 2.0 of Field Guide, which was rolled out last year in a significant move from a web-based SaaS product to a mobile application with a desktop version. To date, the product has been built + maintained by an internal agency development team, which is no longer standing, and IntellectSoft has been selected to be a development partner to move forward on this project.
Primary users of the application are employees ‘agents’ in the field, which are app-based users.
4+ years of professional experience with React Native (including managing the entire app lifecycle in both the Apple and Android ecosystems);
2+ years of experience in state management (using Redux or Mobx);
1+ years of experience with TypeScript;
Strong understanding of CI/CD process;
Experience building mobile applications with efficient UI using React Native.
Nice to have skills:
Experience with Webpack;
Experience with GraphQL and Apollo;
Strong knowledge of design principles, user interfaces, and usability.
Component development, bug fixes, writing unit tests, keeping compliance to accessibility standards;
Build new features according to business requirements;
Implement changes to the existing project;
