The 135-year-old global health care conglomerate makes everything from Band-Aids and artificial hips to surgical robots, cancer drugs, and one of America’s first three authorized COVID vaccines. Now it’s a large-scale ongoing AI/ML project for Drug discovery R&D, Safety, Supply chain, Digital Health. Key responsibilities:

• Building highly available & scalable platforms for cutting edge AI/ ML solutions for scientists
• Responsible for implementing/ maintaining robust, complete unit testing for the various applications
• Responsible for participating in iterative design and implementation of the applications’ UI
• Work closely with fronted engineers to seamless integrations with backend systems
• Work closely with Al researchers to support evolving R&D projects and implement new production features

Experience required:

• 4+ years in software development
• Excellent Go programming language skills: you are ready for coding from scratch and rate yourself at least at 8.5 points out of 10
• Hands-on experience in Go automation tests (Go testing frameworks)
• REST API creating, integrating and exposing Spring Boot or micro-services. Creating micro-services that expose either REST/ gRPC endpoints. Creating a REST endpoint — integrating design patterns data structure to pick
• Any SQL and NoSQL databases (PostGres, JSON preferred)
• Kubernetes and/or Docker, AWS and other modern cloud deployment/ interaction — be familiar, understand how the environment works from the developer’s perspective
• Intermediate level of English is a required minimum

Will be a plus:

• Committing code to public projects. Having any open source code is a plus
• DevOps experience
• Data Structures experience
• Any JS experience and JS web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc)
• AI/ML workflow knowledge: understanding of processes, how it proceeds step by step
• Upper-intermediate/Advanced/Fluent level of English
