About the project
We’re working with a US-based FinTech company (New York) that builds large-scale systems for monitoring financial and crypto markets — detecting manipulation, fraud, and compliance risks. The product handles huge volumes of market data, high-load systems, and complex business/algorithmic logic. Long-term, stable cooperation — the client has partnered with us for years, and 20+ of our specialists already work within their teams.
Requirements
- Strong Java, 5+ years, recent hands-on
- Real hands-on experience building data pipelines (batch or streaming) at scale — millions+ records
- Kafka or similar streaming systems
- Solid multithreading / concurrency
- Good understanding of data structures & algorithms, comfortable writing performance- and memory-critical logic over large in-memory datasets
- Comfortable using AI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) as part of daily development workflow
- English B2+
Nice to have
- ClickHouse, Snowflake, Spark, Airflow, or similar analytical/big-data stores and orchestration tools
- Redis, Elasticsearch
- Cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Fintech, trading, or compliance domain experience
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines (batch/streaming) processing high-volume market data
- Design algorithm-heavy, performance-critical components
- Ensure data quality: validation, deduplication, consistency
- Design system architecture and choose the right tools and data structures
- Optimize performance and reliability under load
Cooperation: Full-time, long-term B2B contract with European working hours, including company-provided equipment.
