8+ years of experience working as a SQL Server DBA.
5+ years of experience of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for SQL Servers.
Extensive knowledge of setting and managing SQL Server Availability Group, and SQL Server Cluster.
5+ years of experience with performance tuning, and optimization.
5+ years of experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.
Experience of various Database encryption solutions, such as TDE (Transparent Data Encryption).
Experience with Windows server, including Active Directory, Windows Cluster.

Create and Manage SQL Server databases across multiple servers in Azure
Configure and maintain database servers and processes
Monitor system’s health and performance
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
Provide suggestions for solutions
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
Create SQL queries to facilitate data needs
Proactively monitor and manage critical production systems
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours

We are responsible for managing cloud operations for DealCloud product and services, such as building, automating, monitoring, documenting, securing and managing all infrastructure, and database systems. The team interacts and work cooperatively with development, product management, professional services and other teams and provide expertise that promotes constant performance and improvements to the DealCloud solutions.

Position Overview:

The database engineer is responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems. The main goal is to ensure the security, availability and consistent performance of DealCloud platforms.
