WHO WE NEED

We are looking for an experienced Flutter mobile app developer to stabilize and improve an existing mobile app, and after completion, to lead the implementation of a built-in AI-based analytics dashboard into the app.

Our client is an American company that is revolutionizing the way independent auto repair shops operate by providing customers with a mobile app and service owners with a data-driven dashboard to manage profitability and efficiency.

AS A DEVELOPER, YOU’LL HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fix bugs and performance issues in the existing Flutter app (iOS & Android)
• Implement UI/UX enhancements based on updated Figma designs
• Integrate new backend APIs for feature updates and ShopMonkey enhancements
• Ensure stability of core modules: repair scheduling, repair status tracking, push notifications
• Prepare and implement embedded AI dashboard (Flutter WebView or native) once tuning is complete
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ensure a smooth handoff and delivery

Stack & Tools:

• Flutter 3.16+, Dart
• Firebase (Crashlytics, Messaging), flutter_inappwebview
• REST API with JWT auth (ShopMonkey backend)
• Posthog (analytics)
• GitHub, TestFlight, Android APK pipeline

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience
• 3+ years with Flutter and Dart, including building production-grade apps
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps in App Store & Google Play
• Strong knowledge of mobile architecture patterns (BLoC, Provider, Riverpod, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Firebase (Notifications, Crashlytics)
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and authentication flows (JWT)
• Self-starter with excellent communication and debugging skills
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency is mandatory for communication and the interview process.

Bonus points if you have:

• Familiarity with AI or dashboard integration
• Familiarity with the automotive industry domain.
