• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Commercial experience of delivering customer or application support
• Broad understanding of IT
• Experience or qualifications in one or more of the following: Networking, Windows Server, Groovy Scripts, SQL
• Strong systems fault-finding and analytical skills
• A good communicator — face-to-face, telephone, written, email
• An ability to converse with non-technical people on IT issues without jargon and able to build and maintain good relationships with clients and colleagues
• Creative and innovative problem solver
• ITIL certification would be desirable but is not essential
• Excellent written and spoken English

We are currently assisting our client Napier to set up a Support Team in the Kyiv office.
Napier is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented and highly motivated Support Engineer who will be taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution. The successful candidate will be working in the Services Team, reporting to the Support Team Leader, and will be responsible for:

Main responsibilities:

• Support and maintain our customers, quickly and efficiently resolving issues
• Build excellent relationships with clients to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Use your technical analysis skills and knowledge of IT environments to solve complex issues and promote best practices
• Collaborate with other departments in the company to achieve customer satisfaction
• Work with product management and development teams to channel client feedback & solutions into future releases
• Provide technical KB documentation for extremely complex workarounds/solutions
• Creating documentation and maintaining & following existing documentation
