Our client is the leading and largest provider of Shariah-compliant home financing in the U.S. market. They offer financing to first-time homebuyers and residential investment property buyers. They are dedicated to serving consumers financial products that are both compliant with faith-based principles and also meet industry standards of excellence.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to take ownership of the project’s technical direction — leading and supporting both internal and client-side development teams to ensure successful delivery in line with project requirements, quality standards, and timelines.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality functionality aligned with project requirements, quality standards, and deadlines.
• Lead and manage the end-to-end development process — including architecture design, task decomposition, and progress tracking.
• Mentor and support development team members, ensuring technical growth and consistency in delivery.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to both internal and client-side teams.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring clean, maintainable, and scalable code that meets client standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance challenges.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies and tools to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Oversee deployment workflows and manage releases to QA and production environments.
• Design and document technical solutions for new features and enhancements.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of system architecture, core functionality, and integrations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.
• Communicate effectively with the client, ensuring alignment on technical decisions, priorities, and delivery plans.

Role Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in engineering playing developer roles
• At least 3+ years of experience playing a team or tech lead role, designing and implementing complex tech solutions.
• Deep knowledge of PHP
• Strong experience with the Laravel framework
• Experience in JavaScript, CSS and Vue.js.
• Strong knowledge and experience with CI/CD process
• Strong knowledge of REST API
• Experience with AWS
• Experience in fintech domain
• Advanced English (C1+) with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a structured, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, reliable, and calm under pressure, with a collaborative and ownership-driven approach.

2. Interview with PM and Tech Specialist (up to 90 minutes)
3. Client Interview (up to 1 hour)
