We are looking for a Senior Product Owner for the fintech project from scratch. As a Senior Product Owner, you will need to clarify, systemize the information/requirements from the client into clear and well-visualized requirements and user stories for the development team and the client. You will need to investigate the market and propose to the client the priorities and features which will help the product to be more attractive for the end user

Together with Project Manager you will prioritize the tasks for the development and communicate them to the client, based on needs of the end user.

What do we expect from you?

• Requirement Gathering. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand, gather, and define business requirements.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, customer behaviors, and industry developments to identify opportunities for product enhancements.
• Customer Research: Gain deep insights into the pain points of the target audience and develop solutions to address their needs effectively
• Feature Development: Collaborate closely with designers to create feature mock-ups and validate them with stakeholders.
• Release Planning: Together with the Project Manager determine feature scopes and priorities for product releases, guided by user and business requirements
• Validation. Ensure that deliverables meet the business requirements through continuous validation processes.
• Vision and Roadmap: Formulate a clear product vision and create a roadmap to guide the product’s development over time.
• Stakeholder Communication. Act as a bridge between technical team and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that requirements and changes are communicated effectively

Role Responsibilities 👨‍💻

• Create and maintain a clear and prioritized product roadmap, outlining feature releases and enhancements over time.
• Develop detailed user stories, including acceptance criteria, that provide clear guidance to the development team about what needs to be built.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensure that the backlog is continuously refined to adapt to changing priorities and user needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and quality assurance teams to facilitate UAT, ensuring that the product meets user expectations and quality standards.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the product’s success and impact, making data-driven decisions.
• Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and internal training materials.
• Identify and manage risks that could impact the product’s delivery, quality, or success.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and users to understand their needs and build trust.
• Continuously assess the product’s performance, user feedback, and usability to identify areas for improvement.
• Fill and maintain the filling of the knowledge base on the project;

Skill set and experience we believe you should have for that role 🤓

• 3+ years hands on experience as Product Owner or similar role
• Strong track record of successfully delivering products is a MUST
• A deep understanding of the US Fintech, Accounting and Non-profit, including knowledge of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Great attention to detail, ensuring high standards in all aspects of work
• Proactive approach and forward-thinking, anticipating potential challenges and preparing solutions in advance
• Analytical mindset; ability to structure information and dive deeper when it is needed
• Innovative and critical thinking, a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences
• UML & BPMN
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau or similar software, including building comprehensive tables, reports, charts and graphs, using advanced formulas, etc.
• Experience with product analytics and product marketing
• Strong understanding of the FinTech industry, experience in working with data analytics and budgeting products
• Excellent communication skills (English С1+)
