About the project:

Our client is a USA based startup that provides finance-related data to its clients.

The project is divided into two parts:

Product and Business Consulting: includes assistance in developing a business model, identifying target customers, creating a roadmap, etc. This team already has a Solution Architect, Business Strategist, BA, UX/UI Designer. The PM’s task will be to unite the efforts of all these specialists and lead in the right direction.

Development: the actual development of the product. The team includes part-time DevOps, part-time QA, part-time Front-End and part-time Back-End developers.

Skill set and experience we believe you should have for that role 🤓

• Fixed price projects experience is a MUST
• At least 2 years experience as a Project Manager in a big companies 500+ ppl
• Advanced English
• Excellent time management skills
• Experience with Agile frameworks
• Risk management practical experince
• Experience with starting projects from scratch
• Conflict management experience
• People management [hiring, onboarding, developing]

Role Responsibilities 👨‍💻

Risk Management:

— Identify potential risks associated with the project and develop a proactive risk management plan.
— Monitor and assess risks regularly, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
— Forecast and plan for contingencies to ensure project success even in adverse circumstances.

Account Management:
— Work closely with the Strategic Product Team to identify upselling opportunities within the annuity contracts.
— Collaborate in defining strategies for product growth and maximizing customer value.
— Assist in crafting persuasive value propositions for upsell initiatives.Astatic Team Management
— The team composition is regularly changeable, with on-demand consultants stepping in and out of the game. It is important for the project manager to be able to wisely control such resources and define their capacity alongside forecasting the upcoming loads.

Stakeholder Communication:
— Effectively communicate project progress, challenges, and achievements to internal and external stakeholders.
— Foster strong relationships with team members, vendors, and clients to ensure alignment and cooperation. As long as the customer’s desires change extensively, it is crucial to be agile with the requirements and remain available to adapt to those.

Budget Management:
— Develop and manage a detailed project budget, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
— Collaborate with the finance team to optimize resource allocation and cost-effective solutions.
— Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising project quality.
