We’re looking for an experienced Python Engineer with strong communicative soft skills to help us with the service delivery, pre-sales, recruiting needs on a part-time basis (hourly, on demand).
Role Overview:
Tech Expert — person who already develops himself as an independent, acknowledged and mature specialist in a specific technology/domain area. Has proven experience in that area, and ready to apply that experience in other projects and tasks.
Requirements:
- Excellent in Python. Familiar with modern frameworks and libraries around Python.
- Understand how typical solutions could be created using Python and popular frameworks/libraries;
- Understand Python interpreter structure and work;
- Understand salability options often employed to use Python in data-intensive contexts;
- Good understanding Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes;
- Understand cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and IaaC tools (Terraform);
- Passion for solving challenging problems and iterating quickly;
- You are familiar with Infrastructure as a Code, Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices;
- Know how to build secure, reliable and scalable systems;
- Experience in designing software architecture using industry best practices (architecture styles and patterns, design patterns, UML or similar tools, etc.)
- Learns new technologies and tech solutions to business problems
Responsibilities:
Pre-sales / Sales (optional)
- Participates in pre-sales calls with clients to help with selling the company’s tech expertise (present tech solutions and software architecture design, ask and answer tech-related questions, clarify business requirements, etc.).
- Work out Software Architecture Design (SAD) and other tech design documents as a part of a proposal for a client.
- Provisioning of technical consulting to customers (handling customers’ system audits, turnkey projects design/development, architecture design, prototyping, etc.)
Marketing
- Sharing knowledge across the company connected to Python culture
Talent Acquisition
- Performs tech interviews of candidates for new projects/teams
- Sets and improves corporate standards of performing tech interviews
Service Delivery
- Participate in POC for new client infrastructure (infrastructure as a code)
Investigate existing infrastructure and infrastructure bottlenecks
Amount of hours: 10-30 hours monthly
