Senior DevOps Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team and support the development and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for a self-driven engineer with deep experience in AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD systems. You’ll work closely with a technical point of contact while also having the autonomy to design and implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and infrastructure components;
• Support containerized service deployments and updates within AWS ECS (Fargate);
• Assist with small-scope AWS feature implementations and infrastructure enhancements;
• Contribute to the design and optimization of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions);
• Migrate legacy services from Docker-on-EC2 to modern ECS Fargate architecture;
• Monitor and tune performance of RDS and AWS Lambda resources;
• Upgrade and modernize developer tooling in ECS environments.

What We’re Looking For:

• A high level of expertise with AWS services and hands-on experience deploying them using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), particularly with Terraform;
• Ideally, 5+ years of daily experience working with cloud architecture and IaC;
• Experience working with Amazon RDS and serverless deployments such as AWS Lambda;
• A deep understanding of HashiCorp Terraform, including implementation, deployment principles, and best practices;
• Confidence working with CI/CD pipeline tools and concepts — we use GitLab Pipelines and GitHub Actions, but experience with similar tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Travis is transferable;
• Strong familiarity with container deployment platforms — ideally ECS on Fargate, though experience with Kubernetes + Helm or HashiCorp Nomad is also acceptable;
• Ability to work independently and proactively propose infrastructure improvements.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with performance tuning in cloud environments;
• Background in observability, monitoring, and cost optimization within AWS.
