About Us:
Our partner is an agile startup in Board Games and Travel Mobile Applications.

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Marketing Specialist to champion our mobile application marketing. This role is ideal for a marketer with both strategic vision and hands-on skills, ready to build user acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies from the ground up. With a startup mindset and a focus on maximizing limited resources, you’ll take ownership of driving growth through targeted ad campaigns, collaborations, and creative, lightweight marketing tactics.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute User Acquisition Strategies: Create and manage ad campaigns across in-app advertising networks and social media channels.
  • Test and optimize ad formats, placements, and messaging to drive downloads and engagement, primarily on Google AdMob, Facebook Audience Network, Unity Ads.
  • User Engagement and Retention: Design and implement engagement strategies to encourage active usage of the app during travel, focusing on personalized user experiences and in-app notifications.
  • Craft and execute retention initiatives, such as push notifications, emails, and updates, to keep users engaged beyond their initial experience.
  • Content Creation & Partnerships: Develop marketing assets (ad copy, visuals, video) tailored to our audience of global travelers and partner with travel influencers on various platforms to promote the app.
  • App Store Optimization (ASO) & SEO Content Marketing: Implement ASO best practices to improve app visibility in the Google Play and Apple App Store.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on KPIs across all acquisition and engagement channels, adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights. Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Firebase, Appsflyer) to gain insights into user behavior, acquisition cost, and campaign performance.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally with a focus on mobile app marketing and user acquisition for a startup or agile environment.
  • Proficiency with in-app advertising platforms such as Google AdMob, Unity Ads, or Facebook Audience Network.
  • Hands-on experience in App Store Optimization (ASO) and familiarity with SEO strategies for organic growth.
  • Strong content creation skills, including copywriting, basic graphic design, and video editing, to develop ad creatives and promotional materials.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and experience analyzing campaign performance and user behavior to make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing and experience with platform-specific features like location-based ad targeting on Facebook and Instagram.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Previous experience with Board Games and Travel Mobile Applications.
  • Familiarity with email marketing for retention or referral programs.
