— Industry related experience 4+ years.
— A strong portfolio that demonstrates your design skills.
— Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma and other visual design tools.
— Knowledge of web design, user experience strategies and techniques.
— Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility design.
— Multimedia expertise (graphics, video, audio, etc) a would-be-nice.
— Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
— Creative and open to new ideas.
— Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.

As a Web and Brand designer, you support Subbly’s growth by developing a brand that amplifies the “subscription-first” movement in our market. You create graphics and assist with designing landing pages that drive conversions. But you’re more than a designer; you have a holistic approach to branding that is consistent across all channels and mediums (including our community, newsletter, website, blog, podcast, and youtube channel). Your brand strategy engages and inspires our target audience. You elevate Subbly’s brand to be truly competitive against large incumbents (like Shopify). To do this, you develop a deep understanding of Subbly’s mission, vision, ideal customer profiles, and competitors.
— Build Subbly’s brand identity and keep it consistent throughout multiple channels: website, social media, newsletter, podcast, blog, etc.
— Create & optimize custom landing pages for a range of marketing and sales activities
— Redesign existing pages of the current website.
— Design emails and newsletters.
— Create banner ads for multiple platforms like Facebook, Linkedin, Google Ads, etc.
— Design social media graphics, presentations, blog images, infographics, e-books, whitepapers, etc.
— Cooperate with the marketing team in order to develop and maintain creative and branding standards.
— Communicating design ideas using user flows, user journeys, site maps, and wireframes.
— Utilize design thinking principles to build engaging customer experiences that solve goals with elegant simplicity.
— Create and maintain design documentation, brand book, process guidelines, etc.
— Manage 3rd party contractor’s if necessary.
