Необхідні навички

• Strong knowledge and experience selling in the disaster recovery, appliances or the backup industry is a must
• Excellent organization and communication skills required.
• Provide effective presentations, demonstrations, and technical support during the selling cycle.
• 2+ year’s experience as a pre-sales systems engineer or technical sales specialist.
• Able to articulate and demonstrate solutions to business problems to customer executives and IT staff.
• Team player, high energy, positive attitude.
• Business maturity, decision-making, planning, & project management skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in heterogeneous computer environments.
• Strong technical systems and network knowledge including operating systems, firewalls, storage systems, cloud, and Virtual Environments.
• Experience with backup software and hardware highly desired.
• Experience with relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office, web-based CRM (Salesforce.com) and email.

Обов’язки

• Explain benefits of the company product line to the customer and partners and answer technical questions regarding the company products, services, and deployments.
• Design and give product demonstrations and presentations of the company products and services.
• Handle pre-sales technical support of potential customers and partners from the initial contact through evaluation and deal closure.
• Works with the sales team and partners to close deals by handling and solving the technical challenges from customers and prospects.
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management Team.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed sales targets.
• Provide support for partners and resellers.
• Respond to the functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
• Post-sales support may be necessary from time-to-time.
• Travel to support sales in big deal presentations, partner training, and field sales support.

Про проєкт

The Pre-Sales Engineer role supports the sales team and handles all pre-sales support of customers. The Sales Engineer is responsible for assisting the sales team by answering all technical questions arising during the sales process, helping customers by assessing their needs, and identifying and adapting the products and services of the company for the customer. The Sales Engineer reports directly to the Director of Sales Engineering.
