What you will bring to the table:
* Education requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS/CIS) or equivalent work experience is preferred.
* Years of work experience: At least 5 years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Engineering or SRE

* Technical/functional skills:
Must-Have
* Deep knowledge of *nix systems (RedHat, Debian, etc)
* Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Perl, etc)
* Experience in virtualization technologies, such as KVM, VMWare
* Understanding RAID technologies (software, ARECA, LSI, etc)
* Strong understanding of networking under Linux/GNU

Preferred
* Excellent troubleshooting skills (both hardware and software)
* Experience with automation tools like Ansible, SaltStack, etc
* Experience with MongoDB, PostgressSQL
* Experience with support reporting and graphing tools (ELK, Grafana)
* Experience working with common security logging and analysis tools (Splunk, SNORT) and vulnerability analysis tools (Nesuss)
* Experience supporting Java/Jboss applications
* Experience with cloud infrastructures, such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
* Hands-on experience in software-defined storage (Ceph, GlusterFS, etc)
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins etc
* Experience with highly available and highly loaded systems
* Basic cisco knowledge (switching)
* Familiarity with OpenVSwitch
* Excellent documentation skills in English
