Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Experience with automated testing (Selenium, Java, Junit)
Experience with manual testing
Strong skills with Windows and UNIX (Linux, Solaris, AIX, and/or HP-UX)
Experience working in a VMWare environment and virtualization in general
Intermediate level of English both oral and written
Must be highly motivated and able to participate as part of a team as well as on their own.
Experience interfacing with storage peripheral products (i.e. tape drives, disk arrays, storage appliances);
Experience with Network and FC SAN devices (IP Switches, FC HBAs, FC Switches);
Scripting experience with Perl and/or Python;
This person is expected to conduct a variety of system interoperability tests with our Tape Library & Disk Storage Products
Ensuring that all automated regression test runs are completed as requested (typically, these are run over the weekend and results are provided by end of day Monday)
a. This includes the web GUI tests and the web services tests for the i6000 and the i3/i6 (Quattro)

This will require developing tests, test scripts or procedures, performing individual tests, collecting and analyzing test data, troubleshooting test failures and compiling test reports;

Quantum Corp. (NYSE:QTM) is a leading expert in data storage, archiving and protection. Infopulse works with Quantum for many years on creation and testing of software for robotized tape libraries and high-performance file systems. Currently, we at Infopulse are looking for an engineer conducting a variety of system interoperability tests with our Tape Library & Disk Storage Products. Test would involve using various backup applications, operating systems and SAN components during the development and sustaining phases of product’s lifecycle. This will require developing tests, performing individual tests, collecting and analyzing test data, troubleshooting test failures and compiling test reports. This will require creating test scripts or procedures as well as performing individual tests.
Duties include project analysis, project estimation, test planning, test metrics, reporting, and providing detailed test status. Candidate must be extremely technical with the product to ensure stability and quality across releases. Desirable skills include automated GUI testing, Web Services (REST API) familiarity and use of commercial automated test products. Must be able to work closely with all testers, developers, and sustaining groups. In additional this will require provide technical and troubleshooting guidance to others on the team.
