• 3+ years experience in Linux System Administration (RHEL)
• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies (vSphere)
• Solid experience with configuration management tools: ansible
• Experience with monitoring solutions Nagios (or its forks)
• Proficiency with Linux systems and deep understanding on how they work
• Hands-on skills with core Linux services and components (like init, systemd, ssh, tcpdump, netstat, LVM, bonding, etc)
• Strong troubleshooting skills: you know where (and how) to find the problem, how to fix it and what the root cause is
• Solid skills in managing and operating VMware vCenter (VMs, portgroups, datastores, clusters, etc)
• You’re used to work with git both in shell and GUI (GitLab)
• Strong scripting skills (shell or/and python)
• You’re confident and experienced working with following solutions/technologies/protocols: apache, nginx, squid, SSL, HTTP, HTTPS
• Complete understanding of TCP/IP stack
• Strong Intermediate (at least) English is a must
• Good understanding of Windows Server Infrastructure and its core applications (AD, SCOM, SCCM)
• Experience with REST API
• Experience with SQL
• RedHat Satellite/spacewalk
• IdM/FreeIPA
• Ansible Tower
• VMware specific solutions: vROPS, powerCLI, vRelize Orchestrator
• Provisioning tools, kickstarting, PXE
• Experience with Unix systems (Solaris)
