The project is looking for an experienced candidate to become a member of T&T Migration Team, responsible for the migration of the DataCenter’s IT Infrastructure (vacancy code 6143). The successful candidate should be ready to work abroad for a long period of time.
Responsibilities for this position will include (but are not limited to):
•Architecting, designing and development of Virtualization technologies.
•Presenting solutions, migration methodologies on customer meetings
•Leading and troubleshooting of pilot and most complex migrations
•Preparing technical documentation such as migration plans, guides and technical specifications.
•Providing technical assistance to all team members during technical exchange meetings
•Being efficient under pressure and in meeting tight deadlines
•Being very attentive to details
Successful candidates should correspond to the following set of required competencies / skills:
•Must have 10+ years of related systems engineering experience.
•Strong understanding of VMware products: vSphere, NSX, vRealize, Integrated Openstack, Horizon, vSAN
•Strong understanding of hardware server platforms (IBM, HP, Cisco UCS)
•Strong understanding of HyperV and SCVMM
•Strong understanding of migration methodologies (V2V, V2P, P2V, P2P)
•Experience with Microsoft Windows Server/Linux
•Experience in large multilayer networks
•Strong inter-personal, presentation and troubleshooting skills
•Excellent English (good English is not enough)
Desired Skills & Experience:
•Knowledge of SAN/Storage (HDS, NetApp, EMC, Cisco MDS, Brocade SAN)
•Knowledge of ITIL
•Extensive PowerShell scripting experience
