Successful candidates are required to have the following competencies/skills:
•BA/BS degree in computer science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
•3 years of relevant hands-on technical management experience with software developers, systems administrators/architects, as well as a record of individual technical achievement
•3 years of experience in leading highly complex, technically challenging, cross-functional software oriented projects from inception to delivery
•Experience in delivering distributed systems
•Some form of certification (PMP, Agile,etc.)
Experience:
•Former developer with strong leadership skills
•Experience in managing teams of
•Experience in developing high-traffic mobile and web solutions for projects that have aggressive timelines
•Skilled at leading development teams, mentoring and coaching across role areas
•Experience in using two or more of the following: Agile, Kanban, SCRUM, eXtreme Programming, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration/Deployment
•Proficient in inspiring confidence within an engineering team
•Excellent communicator in English and Russian (both written and spoken)
Обов’язки
•sprint planning, daily standups, interaction with the Solution Architect, Business Analyst, DevOps and others as needed to resolve blockers and to move the project towards the successful finish;
•maintaining an environment in which high quality services are delivered through fostering adherence to the quality system documentation;
•seeking continually for improvements and more efficient work approaches;
•providing proactive resolutions to arising problems and suggesting modifications that may result in a permanent fix to a problem;
•overseeing and/or undertaking system integration with the use of diverse tool sets;
•contributing to decisions about tools, methods and approaches.
