Infopulse, Part of TietoEvry Create, welcomes a talented Senior Data Scientist to join our data management direction. We are looking for a talented, passionate, innovative, result-oriented professional to develop cutting-edge technology products in oil and gas. It would be a significant advantage if you have such experience.

As a Senior Data Scientist you will be responsible for developing technical requirements, solution design, solution development and deployment, post-implementation support, and knowledge transfer/training for employees. You will be a part of the customer team and closely collaborate with their representative. The existing solution has been done on the Dataiku platform, and we expect you will be ready to master it in case you are not familiar so far.

Areas of Responsibility

• Participate in solution analysis, design, and architecture (data science-related)
• Conduct discovery and research phases in data science projects
• Carry out tasks autonomously, without close supervision, and be ready to take responsibility
• Experiment with new models and techniques
• Interpret and analyze data problems
• Answer questions by using appropriate techniques and methods from the available data sources
• Quickly adapt and learn new technologies to solve business issues

Qualifications

• Has experience in software development, Data analysis, Business analysis, and System/Database Administrators
• 5+ years of experience in a field related to machine learning
• Python, NumPy, R, Scikit-learn, pandas, SciPy
• Solid understanding of modern ML/DL algorithms and approaches
• Good math skills (probability theory, mathematical statistics, linear algebra)
• Solid experience in computer vision, anomaly detection, and time series
• Strong ability to build meaningful visualizations of results
• Experience of building production data science solutions in Azure/AWS
• Good presentation/communication skills
• Good written and spoken English
• A business mindset
