We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our rapidly expanding company. You’ll play a key role in improving our quality processes as we embark on a journey towards full test automation and CI/CD implementation.

Testing frameworks: E2E — Playwright, API&UI — Jest, CI — Github actions.

Application is written: Node.js, MongoDB and PostgresSQL, GCP, Angular 15.

Requirements:

  • Over 3 years of hands-on experience in testing automation, with a strong focus on web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Node.js, Playwright, Jest.
  • Proven track record of developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the performance and reliability of web applications.
  • Proficient in various testing methodologies, including : Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution, Test Reporting.
  • Competent in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation, test setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and tools, enabling the integration of automated tests into the development pipeline to ensure continuous feedback and rapid release cycles.
  • Prior experience in testing cloud-based services at both the frontend and backend.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Review technical designs and create comprehensive test plans to ensure optimal product performance.
  • Primary focus will be on developing and maintaining automated tests across various layers (E2E, APIs, components, load, etc).
  • Manual testing will be a part of your duties (approximately 20%)
  • Managing CI pipelines, addressing failures, minimizing flakiness, and maximizing test coverage.
