About Project:

Our Client is building the universal job assistant and common app for job-seekers. The Client has started their product of a necessity to empower candidates to find better matches with employers, and ease the recruiting process as a whole. They have a grand ambitions of tackling the $35bn/yr recruiting market, but are starting off by disrupting recruiting for the tech industry in the United States, Canada and UK.

We are looking for a mid-senior front-end or full-stack developer with deep understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React fundamentals. Candidates who enjoy working on fast-pace teams, and building consumer products serving hundreds of thousands of users are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

— Work closely with designers and developers to build end-to-end features;
— Work on building new components, pages, and features;
— Work on building packages in Typescript to bundle shared utility and code across
packages;
— Help build and scale our webapp, as well as building components on our chrome
extension;
— Level up our codebase to increase developer efficiency;
— Work closely with the product and design teams to ensure pixel-perfect end-to-end
features;
— Ensure our codebase is well-tested and maintainable;
— Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in frontend development.

What We Expect:

— Expert understanding of Typescript and React;
— Strong understanding of Tailwind, Next.js, and other modern frontend technologies;
— Experience in working with functional components, static and server side pages, and
dynamic pages;
— Experience building scalable code bases;
— Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently;
— Ability to work in a scrum-board like environment;
— Experience and understanding of npm, package management and
building/maintaining packages;
— Experience with JS tooling such as ESLint, Prettier, etc.;
— Understanding of testing strategies and experience building suites (preferably Jest);
— Ability to work off pre-designed components and build designs themselves;
— Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively;
— Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

As A Plus:

— Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
— Ability to design UI/UX;
— Experience with OpenAPI (Swagger);
— Experience in Chrome Extension development;
— Experience in DOM APIs and Manipulation/Automation;
— Experience with integrating Product Analytics;
— Experience with GraphQL;
— Experience with Docker;
— Experience with CI/CD platforms, primarily GitHub Actions.
