Specifically, we use aerial imagery and spectral image processing to monitor crop variables. The primary delivery mechanism for imagery is a web application that allows customers to view the imagery of their fields over time. We help farmers use this data to improve crop management practices like fertilizer application, irrigation schedules, stress/problem detection, and other applications.
We are seeking a ML/CV engineer with 3+ years of science based experience to help the image processing team improve existing workflows and develop new tooling to optimize this platform. The person in this role will work to provide infrastructure to enable rapid iteration and will incorporate new scientific products into production pipelines. They will do so by working closely with local and international engineers and scientists to design, develop and deploy new solutions. It will entail contributing to and working with our machine learning, computer vision, data collection, and distributed systems code bases. Initial projects include but are not limited to automated image masking to remove clouds from individual images, improving image georegistration outputs and developing better land cover models.
Are you a good fit? Send us your CV in English. We are waiting to hear from you!
