iDeus is seeking a skilled and talented front-end developer with a primary focus on markup development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating lightweight, elegant, adaptive, and SEO-optimized markups for various projects following modern standards.
• Integrating markup into WordPress and other back-ends for ongoing projects (e.g., Laravel, Django).
• Implementing high-performance 2D and 3D animations using Canvas API and WebGL, as well as leveraging libraries such as Three.js or Pixi.js for more complex visual effects.
• Ensuring smooth and responsive animations across different devices and screens, optimizing performance using requestAnimationFrame, CSS containment, will-change properties, and best UX practices.
• Handling touch events and implementing mobile-specific optimizations, such as using transform instead of position properties for improved rendering performance.
  

Desired qualifications:

• Commercial experience: At least 2 years of experience in commercial projects as a markup developer.
• Technical proficiency: Knowledge and proficiency in HTML, CSS, SASS, LESS, SCSS, and Vanilla JS. Strong knowledge of CSS/JS animations.
• Animation expertise: Understanding of animation principles and UX best practices, including timing, easing functions, and performance optimization techniques. Experience with SVG animations and manipulation, including SMIL animations and JavaScript-based SVG animation libraries for creating scalable, resolution-independent animated graphics and icons.
• Preprocessors and version control: Familiarity with tools like Gulp, Grunt, Webpack, and proficiency in using Git.
• Language proficiency: At least a pre-intermediate English level.
• WordPress expertise: Ability to create custom themes and implement minor functional modifications.
• Balancing quality and efficiency: Ability to balance delivering high-quality work with ensuring efficiency.
• Additional skills: Not mandatory but highly valued experience in preparing markup (components) for React and Angular projects.
