AQA Engineer (blockchain experience) (вакансія неактивна)

We’re looking for a Middle AQA Engineer to join a Web3 project.

Professional requirements
4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in automation
Experience in Web3, preferably in one or more of the following areas: blockchain platforms, DeFi, crypto wallets, smart contracts, NFT marketplaces, or decentralized applications (dApps)
Hands-on experience in blockchain QA, including validating blockchain nodes, transaction integrity, smart contract interactions, and consensus mechanisms
Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript
High reporting skills
Strong background in CI/CD-driven QA with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or similar
Experience in Playwright
Ability to dig into previously created tests and maintain them
Solid understanding of the testing process and automated testing practices
Willingness to investigate and use new tools and approaches

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, API, and backend components.
Select and manage test automation frameworks.
Implement continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines
Ensure tests are stable, maintainable, and cover critical business flows and regression scenarios.
Apply best practices for version control, test data management, and environment setup
Run automated test suites regularly and analyze test reports.
Track, investigate, and log defects in JIRA
Monitor test results in CI/CD dashboards and raise alerts on failures.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of automated test coverage and frameworks.
Regularly refactor tests to adapt to product changes and prevent flaky results.

Position goals
Develop a scalable and maintainable test automation framework for UI, API, and backend layers.
Achieve consistent test stability and fast execution times within CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure automated tests are aligned with product architecture and business priorities.
Gradually replace repetitive manual regression testing with automated tests.
Achieve ≥70—80% automation coverage for critical user flows.
Maintain low flakiness rate (<5%) and ensure fast feedback to the development team.
