IdeaSoft is looking for a DevOps Engineer to become a member of our team.

The goals and expected results from a DevOps role are focused on ensuring the smooth delivery of ongoing and new projects, including:

• Improved stability and reliability: By implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, DevOps engineers can ensure that code changes are thoroughly tested and validated before being deployed to production. This can improve the stability and reliability of software applications.
• Enhanced security: DevOps engineers work closely with security teams to identify and address vulnerabilities in the software development process. They can implement security measures such as encryption, access controls, and automated security testing to protect against threats.
• Faster time to market: With streamlined software development processes and automated deployments, organizations can quickly bring new features and updates to market.

Technology stack used on the project: Jenkins, AWS Cloud Services, Cloudflare, Docker (+ compose), Kubernetes, Git (GitHub, Bitbucket).

Responsibilities:

• Production Infrastructure Set Up/Supervision
• Potential extension to Dev Infrastructure Set Up/Supervision
• Managing and configuring infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth code deployments
• Monitoring and analyzing system performance and availability and resolving issues
• Ensuring system security and compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Implementing and maintaining configuration management tools and practices
• Creating and maintaining documentation, including standard operating procedures and system diagrams

Requirements:

• Developing and implementing continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of database management and administration, including SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with security best practices and experience implementing security measures, such as identity and access management (IAM) and network security
• Familiarity with Web3 domain
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as Jenkins, Buddy
