IdeaSoft is looking for a DevOps Engineer for a full-time remote position. We are seeking a determined and creative engineer who is passionate about changing the world through technology, someone who will join a team responsible for implementation of various solutions in the Blockchain and FinTech domains where reliability and efficiency of software is crucial.

The project is a permissionless, decentralized exchange protocol and modular ecosystem built on top of NEAR. It uses an on-chain orderbook to provide a platform complete with a risk engine, matching engine, and shared asset pools for Dapps to build on top of. Dapps built on it will allow for financial instruments such as; Spot Trading, Margin Trading, Perpetual Swaps and Lending & Borrowing. It will offer market-leading execution with low latency and minimal fees with a combination of orderbook efficiency alongside on-chain settlement. We will become the go-to network for ecosystem partners to come and build upon.

What you will be working on

— Monitoring exchange service status, refining deployment pipeline, monitoring, troubleshooting and identifying the root cause of issues.
— Focusing on ensuring the stability of the service and helping dev-team to deploy features to production.
—Handling and solving issues when service goes wrong.
— Designing a better deployment pipeline.
— Building tools to monitor systems and identifying issues.

Requirements

— Strong experience in CI/CD Workflow.
— Experience with Docker and Kubernetes to manage production-grade cluster.
— Familiar with MySql and Redis.

— Solid experience with GCP.
— Familiar with monitoring system prometheus, be able to customize Grafana dashboard.
— Familiar with logging system ELK or EFK.
— Coding ability: Python or Golang.
— Being able to be 24/7 on-call when there are urgent issues to handle and must be handled in a timely + responsible manner.
— Knowledge of blockchain/crypto service or expertise in the online blockchain/crypto or trading industry is a BIG plus.
— Willingness to break things and solve issues — not just able to find out the ’what’, but also the ’why’.
— Excellent troubleshooting, listening and problem-solving skills with the ability to set project expectations and meet deadlines.
— Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
