The role

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead two teams that work on the development of the next-generation version of Ideals VDR product. This is a fully remote role where you’ll work with a sharp, experienced, and motivated team to solve complex business and technical challenges.

As a key leader, you’ll lead the delivery, optimize team performance, and foster a culture of ownership, quality, and collaboration. If you’re a strategic thinker who still loves to stay close to technology, we want to hear from you.

What you will do

  • Lead and inspire cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions with excellence and speed.
  • Set and drive the technical vision in close collaboration with strong Technical Leads.
  • Hire, develop, and retain top engineering talent — you’re not just a manager, you’re a coach and enabler.
  • Define and refine team processes to ensure high-quality outcomes, efficient delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Build a clear and realistic roadmap with Product Managers and ensure the team backlog is well-prioritized and aligned.
  • Plan and manage team capacity, resources, and risk, balancing delivery and innovation.
  • Be the communication bridge between tech and business, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and informed.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks in development practices and implement improvements.

What you bring

  • 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
  • Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong experience in requirements analysis and ability to produce and maintain clear technical documentation.
  • Proven track record in risk management and delivery excellence.
  • Natural leader with a collaborative mindset and the ability to inspire teams toward a shared vision.

Nice to have

  • Experience with our tech stack on back end or front end: .Net, C#, Angular, TypeScript, AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server
  • Experience with security best practices and B2B products development
