I will share my perspective as a foreigner, the company has internationalized very quickly. During my first OKR meeting (when we plan the company objectives for the quarter), half of the presentations were in Ukrainian or Russian (and the rest in English). Since then every major meeting has been fully in English (which is a great opportunity to practice English if you are not so confident in it). There are employees & customers from all around the globe.

The hiring process may feel relatively long as a candidate. But now, as a hiring manager, I understand why :) it is very thorough ! Profiles, expectations are very detailed and agreed upon at the higher level. Evaluations metrics are well defined to ensure fairness between all candidates. It makes the process challenging but ensures an amazing cultural and technical fit... So much better than with a traditional interview process.

And when the company is full of smart and motivated people aligned on the same vision... It makes working a pleasure. Escalation or fingerpointing is incredibly rare, useless meetings don’t happen. Colleagues happily help each other.

The company practices Remote First properly, you may go to the office if you wish so, but nobody will ever ask you to. You can really work from everywhere you want as long as you have internet. The communication is mostly asynchronous and urgent topics are handled with a quick video call. Such a refreshing no non-sense approach !

Transparency is in the DNA, bi-weekly All Hands meetings are used to share company updates/numbers, plans, ideas... All managers meet for a couple of days every quarter to openly discuss all their results & objectives and agree on who needs to help with what. As a manager, it may feel a bit time-consuming, but in the long run, it saves so many hours in explaining, looking for resources, negotiating priority & co... After each quarterly OKR meeting, everybody is fully aligned and ready to hit the ground running.
You can look up colleagues’ calendars to see what they are up to and arrange a quick meeting. And at the same time, you can block your entire day as No Meeting and it will be very rare that anyone tries to arrange a call during it. Boundaries & work-life balance are very well respected.

Overall, I would strongly recommend working in Ideals, the mindset & way of working + great people make for a fantastic experience
