QA Hiring Camp, $1000 sign-on bonus (вакансія неактивна)

We invite Middle QA Engineers with 2+ years of experience to show their expertise during our hiring camp and have them join the team working on a global business product used by some of the biggest names in the business world.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Manual QA Engineer:
• Analysis of project documentation to ensure a full understanding of business requirements and technical requirements;
• Development of test plan and test coverage;
• Perform an agreed set of test cases according to the test plan and release plan;
• Provide clear and accurate reporting on testing progress and results;
• Search, record and track software bugs;
• Repeated testing of corrected errors;
• Product regression testing;
• Release testing;
• Metrics collection;
• Cross-examination of other engineers’ test plans.

Automation QA Engineer:
• Сreate, update, and execute UI and API tests using Java stack;
• Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases;
• Analyze test results, troubleshooting issues and write up defects with a high level of detail;
• Work with product owners and tech leads to identify and prioritize tests for automation;
• Interact with development teams to help implement optimized and re-usable functional test automation.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

Manual QA Engineer:
• Min of 2+ years of experience in functional and non-functional testing — web (must), desktop, mobile (nice to have);
• Participation in End-to-end software development lifecycle;
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes;
• Experience in analyzing project documentation to ensure thorough understanding of business and technical requirements;
• Experience designing the relevant Test Cases/Check Lists which will effectively execute the software under test, applicable to both new and existing product functionality;
• Understanding of HTML, XML, SQL, and related web technologies;
• Understanding of continuous integration and automation testing tools;
• Experience with REST client tools;
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, TestRail or similar test management tools;
• Basic knowledge of SQL;
• Intermediate knowledge of English, fluency in Ukrainian and Russian;
• Desire to develop in automated testing + some practical experience in it (commercial experience, pet projects, etc.) — nice to have.

Automation QA Engineer:
• 1,5 + years of experience in automation testing (Web, Api), preferably with Java / .Net Core or a desire to switch to Java stack;
• Participation in End-to-end software development lifecycle;
• Experience in analyzing the project documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of the business and technical requirements;
• Background in designing the Test Cases/Check Lists which effectively exercise the software under test, applicable to both new and existing product functionality;
• Experience with any REST API frameworks;
• Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with RDBMS;
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, TestRail or similar test management tools;
• A fast, passionate learner;
• Intermediate knowledge of English, fluency in Ukrainian and Russian.
Will be a plus:
• Experience with CI tools, like TeamCity (using for auto-running and managing);
• Knowledge of base patterns used for autotests;
• Experience with Mobile automation, Docker;
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent specialization.
