The Head of Product Management has an opportunity to contribute directly and visibly by successfully executing product development strategies and bringing valuable, highly differentiated and elegantly designed products to market. You lead and develop the product management team and work closely with other departments. In this role, you will report to the CEO and be a key member of the leadership team at iDeals.
It’s a unique opportunity to manage the products of an international B2B cloud software company with a product and engineering teams located in Ukraine and successfully compete with the strongest rivals on the global market.
Objectives & Responsibilities:
— Drive ongoing development of the product vision and strategy — synthesize and implement ideas on strategy, planning and execution of the next generation of products to increase iDeals market share;
— Develop Product Management expertise — introduce new approaches and tools to deliver more impactful and high-quality results in all stages: hypothesis origination and validation, building MRD and PRD, delivering product changes to production, running A/B tests and measuring success metrics;
— Lead Product Management infrastructure and processes to improve team’s productivity — set up the environment for highly efficient product management — enable faster and more accurate data analytics and decision-making by maintaining and developing data infrastructure, introduce new tools to improve automation, optimise existing and introduce new processes;
— Product Team management: attract and acquire new talents, lead professional development, conducting performance reviews and managing team’s motivation;
— Take responsibility for the product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities — manage the ongoing development of the product strategy, product roadmaps and specification of the product requirements;
— Track and evolve business metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements in business KPIs through product changes, such as MQL-to-Sales conversions, LTV, NPS, etc.;
— Lead the customer experience and products user-facing design with a careful eye on customer value, product usability and end-user efficiency;
— Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support teams to enable collaboration on market research, surveys and customer/user feedbacks to find insights and better understand our target markets;
— Work with CTO and Engineering team on strengthening and optimising software development delivery processes aimed to ensure timely and high-quality implementation of product roadmaps;
— Act as product evangelist both internally and externally.
— Substantial product management experience in B2B/B2C software and consumer internet markets;
— Strong leadership and people management skills — the ability to drive people forward to very challenging and ambitious goals;
— Ability to effectively make decisions and coordinate team on a strategic level with a bird’s-eye view, and at the same time to dive very deep into each problem or matter appeared on the operational level;
— Strong quantitative analysis skills, including data gathering, data analytics and ability to apply them in hypothesis measurement and verification, market sizing/analysis, competitive analysis, etc.;
— Ability to coordinate people and activities across multiple functional areas with demonstrated strong capabilities in communicating and interfacing with Engineering, Support, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success;
— Solid business acumen, management and marketing communication skills;
— A passion for building products with leading positions in its’ market and delivering a world-class user experience;
— Strong skills in Excel and experience working with databases and BI tools to explore insights.
Will be a Plus:
— Hands-on experience in software development (as an engineer), i.e. ability to contribute into technological part of the products;
— Hands-on design and product management experience with enterprise B2B applications for business users;
— Strong experience working with SQL.
