The opportunity

📍 Our ASIC team is looking for a Linux (ASIC) Engineer to work on the code and communicate with the support team (as L3). This role is for engineers, who have a passion for research (50% of the full scope of work). Programming takes 2/3 and administration takes 1/3 of the tasks.

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be responsible for a variety of initiatives, including:

• Maintaining our legacy ASIC Client (Bash, cURL, jq)
• Shell automation scripting
• Refactoring of legacy shell scripts
• L3 technical support (on request from the support team)

What makes you a perfect match for this role:

• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, AWK, jq, RegEx)
• Experience with JSON/YAML parsing and JSON-RPC
• Experience with Git (branches, tags, release scheduling)
• Experience with embedded Linux administration (Busybox, U-Boot, mkimage)

Will be a plus:

• Understanding of OSI Model (especially L2/L3), TCP/IP and TLS/SSL principles
• Good understanding of Python or another high-level programming language
• Familiarity with the crypto mining domain
• ASIC/GPU mining experience
