We’re looking for a responsible and initiative person with a passion for work who has helicopter vision. A leader, who can help us to develop our software through product thinking and data-driven decisions. Our ideal candidate will take responsibility for product creation and make decisions about the development process on their own.

As a Product Manager, you’ll be working with all three of HiveOS’s products, which allow users to set up, mine, and control processes more efficiently and hassle-free across thousands of rigs all in one place.

Our products:
• Hive OS — your main focus will be on this product — is a management and monitoring system for GPU and ASIC farms. It is the ultimate mining platform that allows users to set up, mine and control processes more efficiently even in case they have thousands of workers.
• Hiveon Pool is the most profitable and efficient ETH and ETC mining pool, with guaranteed high-profit payouts (PPS+ distribution mode). 0% fee, no transaction fees for users (they are covered by the pool), and servers all over the world.
• Hiveon ASIC is the game-changing firmware for ASICs. Manual and automatic settings for extra hashrate and better performance, high protection from viruses, and numerous other features that allow users to get the most from their ASICs.

This is not a classical Product Manager position, but rather a mixture of PM with Product Owner. Our product is very unique and specific, and so are our users, as they treat security differently from usual software users. Because of this specification your tasks won’t be the routine tasks associated with product management, such as counting analytics or making hypotheses. Are you ready for a challenge?

Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in product management within a software company or in business analysis
• Experience with complex products and multiple, distributed engineering teams
• Technical background is a huge plus!
• Experience in cross-functional teams
• Advanced experience in Jira and Confluence tools
• Result-oriented, hard-working with high ambitions and leadership skills
• Structured thinking and ability to make data-driven business decisions
• Ability to proficiently communicate in English — in both written and verbal forms
• Hands-on experience in gathering requirements, writing detailed functional specifications, and developing product strategy

• Knowledge and experience with mining / blockchain / cryptocurrency

• Defining product objectives, scoping, providing estimates with technical team members, preparing technical documentation
• Drive new opportunities for sales and marketing of the product
• Close communication with stakeholders
• Regular synchronization with Product Managers of other products and engineers on intersecting tasks
• Setting up processes within the team
• Decomposition of goals and objectives for your team
• Backlog prioritization, product research
• Validation of the product ideas
• Research the market, think over new marketing promotion and strategies for working with competitors
