HiringWise, a recruitment agency, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the team of Data Scientists of a software product company renowned as the world’s premier community for engaged investors. The company serves as the ultimate hub for investors seeking actionable stock market insights, timely market analysis, and distinctive financial perspectives.

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in driving the personalization efforts for the leading website designed for stock market investors. Personalization is at the heart of the ongoing site redesign and is essential for enhancing user experience, boosting marketing initiatives, and increasing subscriber engagement. You’ll collaborate closely with the data analysis and engineering teams to use personalization as a key driver of company growth.

This role is 100% remote, offering flexibility to work from home.

What You’ll Do

Your Goals:

• Foster Growth Through Personalization: The ultimate goal of the Senior Data Scientist is to leverage personalization to enhance the company’s growth by improving the conversion rate of those in free or paid trial, and boosting the renewal rate of paying subscribers. This includes optimizing the current product and introducing new personalized features or functionality in partnership with the Product team.
• Deliver Immediate Results: Make an immediate impact on the business by developing and implementing advanced data science models and techniques aimed at improving KPIs

• Success will be reflected in improved user engagement, higher retention, and increased trial conversion rates achieved through your personalization projects.

Requirements

• An advanced degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field, along with significant practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science, with expertise in building and deploying advanced personalization algorithms in fast-paced environments.
• A proven history of applying Data Science techniques for website personalization and audience targeting.
• Proficiency in deploying data science models and building production pipelines, ideally in AWS or SageMaker environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with stock market investing (preferred).
• Experience in data analysis and visualization tools (preferred).
