The international company is looking for an experienced Linux Embedded Developer.
In this role, you will be part of our in-house OpenWrt team, with the opportunity to work across diverse areas of technology and levels of abstraction, all with the goal of enabling new products in the market. Your code could be running on millions of home devices.
— ARM and possibly some MIPS-based software development
— Development of carrier-grade Wi-Fi network products
— Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver robust solutions to technical problems
— Providing feedback and contributing to upstream projects.
— OpenWrt software development
Required Skills And Experience:
— In-depth knowledge of Embedded C
— Experience building Linux-based networking devices
— Experience with system profiling and performance analysis
— Ability to analyze and debug issues
— Understand the OSI model and have experience with ethernet routing, forwarding and bridging
— Understand the Linux development environment and shell scripting
— Understand Wi-Fi networking and theory of operation
— Understand TDD and its practical application
Additional Preferred Skills And Experience:
— Working knowledge of Python scripting
— Understanding of hardware concepts such as GPIO, SPI, SDIO, I2C
— Front End knowledge/experience (e.g. React, Angular)
— Cloud infrastructure and integration experience (AWS, Lambda, RDS, REST)
— Experience using a spectrum analyzer
— Knowledge of and/or experience with prplOS or OpenWiFi would be a definite advantage
