ABOUT THE JOB
Gunzilla Games are seeking a Technical Animator to work closely with our Senior Technical Animator assisting our Animation and Tech art teams on Character Locomotion for our game OTG (Off The Grid), an all-new AAA Battle Royale 2.0 third-person shooter, due for release on PlayStation®5, Xbox® Series X|S and PC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Technical Animator, you will be:
- Setting up and maintaining Animation Blueprints together with Gameplay and Engineering teams.
- Work with Animators to create best practices and optimal workflows
- Understand/Setup/Extend the character locomotion system
- Analyze character-related memory/performance concerns throughout a project’s development.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience working on animation systems.
- Excellent knowledge of the tech animation topics like state machines, blend trees, etc.
- Ability to provide clear solutions to complicated issues.
- Ability to self-direct, and be autonomous when required
- Strong knowledge of Rigging in Maya.
