We are looking for a Senior Python Developer (AI/ML Integrations) to join Group107 for a specific project. You will work on Summa, a cloud-based platform that transforms how accounting firms and tax consultants in Israel operate — automating routine technical and administrative work to cut operational hours by up to 80%. The product is live in production, used by leading firms, and on a long-term roadmap toward global expansion. In this role you will own the integration of LLMs and machine learning into the platform, architecting AI-driven systems that directly shape Summa’s core value and keep it at the technology frontier of the accounting industry. You will report to the VP of R&D and work independently with full ownership of the technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and AI-driven systems in Python, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and performance in cloud environments.
• Integrate and operationalize Large Language Models (LLMs) in production, including OCR, document processing, and knowledge-extraction pipelines.
• Architect and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases and unstructured data sources.
• Build and optimize ETL workflows and data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.
• Develop and maintain APIs (REST, GraphQL) using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Implement and manage AI agents, agent-to-agent (A2A) interactions, and tool-based reasoning workflows with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer
• Deep, hands-on back-end engineering expertise in Python.
• Advanced knowledge of integrating LLMs into backend or production systems.
• Solid expertise in RAG architecture and modern AI system design.
• Strong understanding of vector databases and semantic search technologies.
• Perfect knowledge of API development (REST, GraphQL).
• Proven experience building robust ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• English Upper-Intermediate (B2)+
