Our customer is one of the largest sports footwear, apparel, accessories and services companies worldwide and it’s based on the West Coast, US. We develop a set of high-performance platform tools and mission-critical components in their inventory, order management and fulfillment ecosystem which is composed of 200+ micro-services deployed on the cloud. Our team is made of 15 and distributed across Krakow, Lviv, S.Peterburg and Portland, USA.

Requirements:
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and quality metrics
Experience in automated testing (jest, puppeteer, selenium)
Strong Javascript knowledge, understanding of general programming concepts
Analytical skills and experience in requirements analysis
Knowledge of Linux/Unix-based operating systems (bash/ssh/ps/grep etc.)
Knowledge of fundamental data structures and algorithms
Understanding of microservice architecture concepts
Hands-on experience with QA engineer daily basis tools such as version control systems (Git), bug tracking systems (Jira)
Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery processes (Jenkins)
Excellent English writing skills are a must

Will be a plus:
Desire and ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
Experience with Agile methodologies
Experience in non-functional testing (performance, reliability, scalability, etc.)
Experience and understanding AWS services
Experience in Splunk
Practical experience in building a test automation framework
Understanding of networking concepts
Experience with performance testing tools: Jmeter
Experience in software profiling and debugging
Java experience
Shell scripting skills

Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and define acceptance criteria
Review and analyze functional requirements, identify and correct gaps and inconsistencies
Participate in designing test plans, testing framework, and functional test cases
Development and execution of automated functional tests
Continually improve software quality (evaluate and incorporate new tools and technologies; code reviews; etc.)
Design and implementation of a test automation framework
Configure and support CI test runs, collect metrics on test automation execution
Analyze test results and perform root cause analysis
Prepare demonstrations to customer teams
Collaboration with customer and teams in other locations
Analyze existing test processes and suggest improvements
