About your key responsibilities and impact:
— Fostering a supportive team environment through open communication, mentorship, and regular feedback to help members develop skills and achieve their goals;
— Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform, manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) for microservices, and ensure PCI DSS compliance with a focus on security and GitOps principles. Implementing monitoring, observability, and log aggregation using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack, and setting up alerting mechanisms for system health and performance;
— Conducting regular PCI DSS compliance audits, implementing security best practices such as encryption and access controls, and collaborating with the security team to address vulnerabilities and incidents;
— Collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship, and documenting system architecture and processes for knowledge sharing and continuity;
— Participating in on-call rotations for 24/7 support of critical systems, responding to incidents promptly, and conducting post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implementing preventive actions;
— Identifying areas for process and technology improvements, driving initiatives to address them, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.

Essential professional experience:
— Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience;
— 2+ years of proven experience in a DevOps Lead or similar role with a focus on designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions;
— In-depth proficiency in cloud computing, particularly AWS, with a deep understanding of security best practices;
— Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-a-code (IaaC) principles and experience with tools like Terraform for provisioning;
— Excellent skills in implementing monitoring and observability solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch etc;
— Experience architecting and implementing service mesh technologies, preferably Istio;
— Hands-on experience with GitlabCI or similar CI/CD tools, including automated testing and security checks;
— In-depth proficiency in GitOps principles and experience with Flux or similar tools for managing infrastructure and deployments;
— Expertise in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters (EKS) for production-grade microservices applications;
— In-depth knowledge of message queue systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication;
— Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail;
— Previous involvement in maintaining PCI DSS compliance and executing security audits will be a plus;
— Google Workspace, Confluence, Jira, Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, HiBob;
— Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate the team towards achieving project goals. Inspire trust, provide clear direction, and delegate tasks effectively;
— Communicating ideas and instructions to both technical and non-technical team members;
— Collaborating with other teams to solve problems and issues;
— Strong problem-solving skills will help you analyze complex issues, identify solutions, and guide the team towards effective problem resolution. Being able to think critically and make informed decisions is crucial;
— Being able to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage competing demands to ensure the team’s productivity and project success;
