Greetings to all those who are on the way to choosing courses. I wish you had one teacher as excellent as I was! And, of course, go to GoIT!
My specialty is UI/UX.
Mykhailo gave me a gift and shared his inspiration even in difficult times when everyone was afraid. When we were sitting in the vaults and basement Wi-Fi, he said the main thing is to be safe! And it motivated me to make designs for which I was not ashamed, neither then nor now.
The courses gave me a new tool called Figma, pushed me to self-study illustration, and said don’t worry, even if you make a mistake, it’s normal, it’s how it should be, you’re growing! I still think about what mentors wrote to me when I did something, what they advised me to improve, and what to look for!
When something went wrong, or there were situations of misunderstanding, “My Hope” came to everyone’s aid like a fairy.
The community continues when you get your diploma after your defense (3 defenses and many calming exams at the university, but not here), and you can go wherever you want. It’s one big family, friends, and support from mentors, mentors, and alums.

And now tell you a little more about materials.
The primary and advanced courses were taught gradually, which is appropriate; after mastering them, you are constantly reinforced with homework, not just to repeat them, but to think and create.
A thorough familiarization with the program and its capabilities, a live prototype, seeing the difference between icons (oh, my eyes never noticed that before).
Fonts... For many of us, typography was an Achilles’ heel, but from lecture to lecture, from homework to homework, we were taught to analyze and see.
If I could only choose courses from a long list now, I would go back to my GoIT.
I’m looking for my company, but I’m not sitting around. I’m freelancing now. Special thanks to the career department for doing everything to help each of us find what we are looking for.
