Team Leader would face the challenge of managing staff of up to 4 local employees responsible for daily operations, incident detection/resolution and similar activities. The position requires management and hands-on skills (about 50/50).
- Experience in a technical support / incident management role (2+ years of experience as team leader)
- Deep understanding of industry standard Incident Management processes
- Leadership skills for team mentoring and motivation.
- Experience in team performance assessment and reporting
- Hands on experience with Agile and Kanban methodologies
- Ability to follow and create documentation, processes and procedures
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong expertise (4+ years) in administration and engineering of Linux OS (Ubuntu, CentOS, AWS Linux)
- Experience with LXC, Docker virtualization
- Proficiency in Bash (2+ years of recent experience)
- Experience in database administration (pgSQL, Redis, Mongodb)
- Experience (2+ years) in Ansible CM, or similar
Would be a plus:
- Experience with AWS EC2 and Route 53
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 4 engineers, providing guidance and mentorship, technical leadership,and be a primary point of contact for coordination with Customer Support andDevOperation teams
- Build and support Monitoring Systems around the product, as well as highly available and scalable services
- Architect and implement increasingly better High Availability, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity (Backup) solutions
- Ensuring the timely pickup and response to incidents from assigned teams
- Participation in resource management and efficiency strategy. Provide technical leadership development and recruitment inside the organization
