3-5 years’ experience in Release Engineering;
Strong Unix knowledge;
Strong troubleshooting skills and aptitude for process automation;
Strong scripting skills (ruby, perl, python, shell);
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle & DevOps Practices;
Expertise with Source Control systems (SVN, Git, etc.);
Experience with Continuous Integration Environments;
Experience with Apache, Java, Weblogic, WebSphere, Tomcat;
Experience with Infrastructure deployment tools such as puppet or chef;
Expertise with Build tools such as Maven, Jenkins;
Experience with Deployment orchestration tools such as Capistrano;
General knowledge of Windows administration;
Basic understanding of networking terminology and layouts;
Experience with installation package tools such as install4j, InstallShield, or similar.

Maintain and create build and deployment automation scripts;
Work with developers and QA engineers to optimize their development and test environments;
Responsible for proper running and functionality of the Development and QA test environments;
Work with developers, QA and AppOps teams to identify and resolve build or deployment issues;
Responsible for maintenance of Source Control systems and Development tools infrastructure;
Ensures high quality build artifacts are packaged and ready for production deployments;
Maintains documentation and build/release tracking records consistent with audit requirements;
Understanding of scaling applications from developer environments to production.

Our Client is a transnational company that owns numerous products within Finance domain. One of the largest, B2B electronic payment network, is integrating with several other Banking products belonging to Client. We are looking for 3 new Scrum Teams to support the extension of the existing payments solution, its integration with other lines of businesses, migration of old core to modern technologies and building new functionality at the top. Existing application is one of the winners of the US market and we are looking for an expansion with the merge that is happening.
From technologies perspective, old core is written on Java 7, reporting engine is Crystal Reports (to be moved to Jasper); Front End is mixture of Dojo and J2EE — expectation is to bring this to the stack outlined above in the requirements.
