GlobalLogic invites Senior DevOps Engineer to join the team.
About the project: Our client is a well-known brand in the construction domain. They have offices all around the world and a great technical team. You’ll become a part of stream consisting of 3 Scrum teams and will colaborate and support those teams.
Requirements:
— 4+ years or experience as a DevOps Engineer. or similar role.
— Strong knowledge of cloud computing solutions
— Experience supporting microservices.
— Experience working with containerization and orchestration technologies, like Docker, Amazon Elastic Container Service or Kubernetes
— Good understanding of software version control systems, in particular Git.
— Monitoring and observability experience, familiarity with database and networking principles.
— Agile methodology experience
— Good communication skills and English fluency
Good to Have:
— Programming experience: Java, Javascript.
— Gitlab experience. Pipeline development.
— Linux administration.
— Familiarity with Cloudwatch and Datadog.

— Design and implement scalable, reliable and secure infrastructure solutions to support the software development lifecycle,
— Streamline and automate processes to improve efficiency and productivity,
— Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure smooth integration of software components, document and communicate technical procedures and guidelines effectively
— Monitor and enhance system performance, identify potential challenges, and implement appropriate solutions
— Comfortable with frequent code testing and deployment
— Continuously improve infrastructure provisioning and management using automation
— Determine root-cause for production level incidents and write corresponding high-quality RCA reports
