GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced Kotlin Engineer to join our engineering team.

You will be a part of a team developing digital collaboration tools with features enabling Analog to Digital. You will be working with a very well-known brand. The current focus is on applications built for use in Microsoft Teams & iOS/Android Mobile Apps. The product backlog has features across a broad range of technologies & business needs. This year is focused on global scalability, compliance & new UX features. The product is all Azure Technology Stack, Github Code Repositories & operates using Agile Scrum Processes. This is a top digital initiative for the company and a fun team to work on!

Requirements:

We are looking for a Senior Kotlin Developer with a strong background in Kotlin Multiplatform development and backend REST API for microservice solutions.
5+ years of commercial applications development experience
Kotlin and Kotlin Multi Platform development experience
Microservices architecture knowledge and experience
Solid understanding of fundamental software design patterns
Excellent communication and people skills
Good Mentoring skills
Upper Intermediate of English

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Kotlin Multiplatform libraries and backend REST APIs for microservice solutions using Kotlin, Ktor, and other relevant technologies
Participate in Daily Scrum with an Agile Development Team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Write and execute unit tests, perform code reviews and create technical documentation
Develop expertise in emerging technologies, products, and techniques to contribute back to the project
Provide mentorship and guidance to developers on the team
