A minimum of a Master’s degree (or B.S. with equivalent experience) in a related engineering discipline (i.e. Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Math, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
Experience with state of art optimization and/or planning techniques, preferably for large complex systems and /or combinatorial optimization problems
Experience with approximation and/or heuristic techniques for solving large combinatorial optimization problems with constraints
Experience developing complex software applications for production environments
Expert in one of the following programming languages: C#, Java or C++
Strong understanding of OOP and SOLID principles
Parallel programming or distributed computing expirience will be a plus
Overall 6+ years of experience

Design and develop pallet planning algorithms for the suite of pallet planning services. Algorithms must generate near optimal pallets considering stability, density and customer constraints.
Implement pallet planning algorithms within the pallet planning service framework
Write high quality and robust software in C#
Test software in simulation and test centers before deployment
Work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum based environment
